my history

My life has always involved art in one form or another. I studied visual arts in college, focusing mostly on graphic design while dabbling in drawing, sculpture, ceramics, and photography. Something that is equally as important to me as art, is spending time with children. I have worked in many preschools, babysat many children and, in fact, strongly considered changing my major to art education in college. So I can't think of anything that could bring me greater joy than combining my love of art and children through photography.

my life

I grew up in Peoria, Illinois but moved to Chicago shortly after graduating from college. Two weeks after moving to the big city I was swept off my feet by a man from Omaha, Nebraska. He had been living in Chicago for almost 6 years before meeting me and we were married two years later. It didn't take long before we decided Omaha is where we needed and wanted to be. In August of 2007 we officially made the move and couldn't be happier about it!

my style

My photography style is fresh and fun with an emphasis on capturing your child's true personality. I use only natural light and shoot on location at parks, your home, or a location of your choice. My goal is to create beautiful, natural portraits of the fleeting moments of childhood.
